Can I Visit the Goberdoodle Puppies?
Our kennel visitor policy, how we keep puppies safe, and virtual options for long-distance families.
We understand how exciting it is to meet your future Goberdoodle puppy in person! To protect the health and safety of our litters, we allow in-person visits by appointment only once puppies are at least 6 weeks old and have received their first round of vaccines. For families who live farther away, we’re happy to offer video calls so you can still get to know the puppies before choosing your new companion.
Why Do We Wait Until 6 Weeks?
Before their first vaccinations, puppies are highly vulnerable to contagious diseases like parvovirus, which can be devastating to young litters. By waiting until they’re a little older and partially protected, we greatly reduce the risk of illness.
Our Commitment to Biosecurity
Keeping our puppies safe is our top priority. That’s why we have strict biosecurity measures in place, including:
Limiting visits to approved families with an appointment.
Sanitizing shoes and hands before entering puppy areas.
No outside animals allowed during visits.
Offering video calls as a safe, convenient alternative for families.
These precautions help us protect the puppies during their most vulnerable stage while still giving you a chance to connect with them before bringing one home.
Visits are an important part of the adoption process, but safety comes first. By waiting until 6 weeks and practicing careful biosecurity, we ensure every puppy stays healthy and ready for their forever family.
