These photos are in part collected here for my own records, but I hope they can also be educational when others are pondering the changes they may see between chick fluff and adult feathers. They grow up so quickly...

Born on St. Paddy's Day, I was very tempted to keep this little one, my first successful 2020 hatchling.

GROW-OUTS
Here we collect photos of the chicks we've chosen to grow out for a while and evaluate for our breeding program. Many of the chicks on this page will eventually be for sale, so keep checking back to see who's available.

This little girl (I hope) is the likely offspring of Calliope, an EE-X from TSC, and Jack, a Cochin-X from a breeder in Pennsylvania. I do not necessarily see her being a part of our breeding program, but wanted to raise a few more chicks to produce the eggs we so enjoy dining upon.

I'm really excited about this little one. Reminds me of a few of my favorite chicks from the same breeder that I got last year.

0015
This chick is probably a keeper, and will likely be a part of a melanistic chicken project.

Clover
Clover and Bunni are definitely staying here, but since they're not sexed yet, I'm posting them on this page so I can share pictures as they grow.

Bunni
Bunni and Clover come from a breeder with some stunning Silkies. I'm so excited to see what they bring to our program.

I believe this chick was out of one of our Australorps.
